Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our busy repair shop. As an Diesel Auto Mechanic, you  will be diagnosing and repairing issues with vehicles’ performance and function.
As an Diesel Mechanic, you must have an in-depth understanding of all vehicle systems and components. You will also be responsible for maintaining repair shop equipment, parts and toll inventory, and maintaining a need organized environment. 
The ideal candidate is skilled in communicating with other team members and management: providing valuable advice about repairs needed and solutions
 
Responsibilities 
  • Diagnose and repair vehicles coming into the shop
  • Carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements
  • Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes
  • Maintain accurate repair shop records and paperwork
  • Ensure a high level of repairs   
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Tools/ tool box ( shop has most of the tools needed)
