Auto Mechanic
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
Location: Oklahoma City, OK 73129
Shift: Monday – Friday | 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Saturdays as needed)
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire


Position Overview


The Auto Mechanic is responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance, basic diagnostics, and repair support in a fast-paced shop environment. This Auto Mechanic role includes brake work, oil changes, and using diagnostic tools to identify issues. The ideal Auto Mechanic is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently while maintaining quality and safety standards.


Required Experience & Skills


• Previous automotive or lube technician experience preferred
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and digital scanners
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance and repair
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
• Ability to work occasional Saturdays as needed


Essential Duties & Responsibilities


• Perform oil changes and routine vehicle maintenance
• Replace brake pads and assist with brake work
• Use digital scanners to run diagnostics and identify issues
• Reset dashboard warning lights after service completion
• Inspect vehicles and report additional maintenance needs
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow all safety procedures and shop standards
