Job description

Auto Body Technician

We are looking for a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our collision repair team and help restore customer vehicles to pre-accident condition. Whether you're an experienced body tech or looking for a long-term home to grow your career, Rohrman Auto offers modern equipment, a steady flow of work, manufacturer support, and a team-oriented environment where quality craftsmanship is valued.

Responsibilities
  • Repair collision-damaged vehicles including body panels, frames, and structural components.
  • Perform metal work, panel replacement, sanding, grinding, and body filler application.
  • Disassemble and reassemble vehicle components as needed for repairs.
  • Ensure all repairs meet manufacturer and safety standards.
  • Work closely with estimators, painters, and management to ensure timely completion of repairs.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with shop and OSHA standards.
  • Document repairs and communicate repair progress effectively.
  • Participate in ongoing manufacturer and in-house training to stay current with repair procedures and technology.
Requirements
  • Prior experience as an Auto Body Technician in a collision center or dealership preferred.
  • I-CAR certification(s) preferred; candidates pursuing certifications are encouraged to apply.
  • Knowledge of frame machines, measuring systems, and body repair tools.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Own a basic set of personal tools required for body repair work.
