Equipment- Auto Mechanic

Position Summary  

Responsible for executing helper duties to assist assigned crew. 

Primary Responsibilities  

  • Accurately diagnose equipment with mechanical failures 

  • Create work orders and perform all required tasks physically 

  • Repair and maintain tires on a variety of equipment which may include motor vehicles such as internal combustion automobiles, buses, trucks, or tractors; or heavy equipment including cranes, power shovels, scrapers, paving machines, motor graders, trench-digging machines, conveyors, bulldozers, dredges, pumps, compressors, and pneumatic tools. 

  • Execute required preventative maintenance procedures 

  • Perform inspections required by the company or government 

Qualifications 

  • Minimum 3 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experience  

  • Knowledge of how to utilize the appropriate tools and diagnostic equipment needed for the job
