Job description

Job Summary:
Mazda/VW is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lube Technician to join our team in Gilbert, Arizona. This individual will be responsible for providing high quality and efficient lubrication services for various vehicles within our dealership. The ideal candidate will have 2 years previous experience in the automotive industry and possess strong technical skills. He/she will have the drive to want to move up within the company as we have a unique  "earn while you learn" Service Technician program. No need for Tech or Trade Schools here. Compensation: $17.00/ /hour full time plus benefits

Benefits: Medical, Dental, vision, vacation, 401k 

Hours: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm alternate Saturdays 

The Lube Technician will also have opportunities for career growth and advancement within the company.
Responsibilities:
- Perform oil changes and lubrication services on vehicles according to manufacturer guidelines
- Inspect and replace filters, belts, hoses, and other vehicle components as needed
- Keep accurate records of all services performed and report any potential issues to management
- Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
- Communicate with service advisors and customers in a professional and courteous manner
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working on vehicles
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of experience as a Lube Technician or in a similar role in the automotive industry
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of vehicle lubrication processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Detail-oriented with strong time-management skills
- Must have a valid AZ  driver's license, good driving record and able to pass a pre employment background  check and drug screen ( THC not included)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- ASE certification is preferred but not required
