Loan Processor

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Loan Processor to support the review, documentation, and funding of consumer loans. This role is responsible for ensuring loan applications are complete, accurate, compliant, and funded efficiently while partnering closely with loan officers and internal teams. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage high volumes, and balances speed with exceptional attention to detail.

Key ResponsibilitiesLoan Review & Processing
  • Review loan applications and supporting documentation for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Audit loan files to ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Verify that all conditions, stipulations, and required documentation have been satisfied before funding.
  • Process and fund loans once all requirements have been met.
  • Generate loan contracts and distribute documents electronically through DocuSign or other approved methods.
Documentation & Compliance
  • Ensure loan files meet internal quality standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the loan lifecycle.
  • Identify missing information and work with appropriate business partners to resolve discrepancies.
  • Follow established loan origination procedures and funding requirements.
Internal Partnership & Communication
  • Serve as a key partner to loan officers, sales teams, and internal departments to facilitate efficient loan processing.
  • Communicate proactively regarding outstanding requirements, loan status updates, and funding needs.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and maintain high service levels for internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and ensure timely loan completion.
Operations & Productivity
  • Manage a shared queue of incoming loan applications and processing tasks.
  • Prioritize workload effectively while meeting turnaround time and productivity goals.
  • Handle a high volume of email communication, follow-up activities, and status tracking.
  • Participate in testing, system updates, and process improvement initiatives as needed.

Pay and Benefits
