Job description

Primary Purpose:

Process and close all consumer loans and lines of credit to include home equity lines, and input HMDA data.  Knowledge of consumer lending regulations and compliance. 

The good-faith compensation range for this role is expected to be $45,000 - $56,000, based on the role, market, internal equity, and candidate qualifications.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Process and close loans as assigned, HELOC, auto, brokerage secured and boat loans.
  • Maintain and manage loan processing queue daily
  • Provide excellent service to our members and loan administration personnel in the field

       Processing Loans:

  • Prepare loan documents within regulatory timeframes
  • Adheres to Service Level Agreements
  • Prepares CIT documentation for HELOC, auto, brokerage and boat loans with assistance
  • Input HMDA data and understands HMDA regulations
  • Handles exceptions in a timely manner with assistance
  • Input loans into the Loan Documentation System 
  • Prepare attorney’s instructions
  • Prepare loan proceeds checks/wire transfers/general ledger entries
  • Review final loan documentation after closing         
  • Correct any collateral exceptions in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with team members outside of department to ensure smooth closing process for members
  • Adheres to applicable federal laws, rules, and regulations including those related to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA).
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Experience in consumer loan area of banking to include loan documentation and regulations, specifically real estate secured

  • Strong technology skills (Power BI, intermediate or above Excel skills)      
  • Knowledge of consumer loan regulations

Physical Requirements:
