How does an auto insurance advisor get paid?

An auto insurance advisor typically earns a commission based on the policies they sell or renew, which is paid by the insurance companies they represent. Some advisors may also receive a salary or a combination of salary and commission, especially if working for an agency or brokerage. Compensation can vary depending on the employer and the sales performance.

What is the role of an auto insurance advisor?

An auto insurance advisor helps clients select appropriate auto insurance policies, explains coverage options, and provides quotes. They assess customer needs, answer questions, and may assist with claims or policy adjustments, often using insurance software and maintaining industry knowledge.
