Position Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing clients in all of their ICBC, Private Auto and replacement insurance. We are looking for an individual who is a self-starter, friendly, and comfortable with working in a high pressure, self-paced environment. This is a full-time regular position.

Responsibilities:

  • Selling ICBC and private automobile coverage
  • Develop new business opportunities by securing renewals and cross selling new products
  • Contact clients for renewal information and updating information as changes occur
  • Provide policy and coverage information to clients upon request or inquiry
  • Setting and adhering to production budgets, including ICBC Autoplan, Private Auto Sales production
  • Interpreting and ensuring that insurer and BC Insurance Council rules and regulations are followed
  • Ensuring control of ICBC inventory and correct handling of all documentation and funds
  • Handling any customer complaints appropriately

Skills, Characteristics & Qualifications

  • Level 1 General Insurance License
  • 2 years+ in personal insurance experience preferred
  • Exceptional client service abilities
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbally
  • Sales initiative and drive
