Automotive Window Tint & Vinyl Graphics Installer
Position Summary
The Automotive Window Tint & Vinyl Graphics Installer is responsible for the professional installation of automotive window tint, vinyl graphics, custom wraps, and lettering on a variety of vehicles and units. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, a steady hand, strong technical skills, and an artistic eye to consistently produce high-quality, professional results.
The Installer is also responsible for properly preparing vehicles and work surfaces, maintaining tools and equipment, managing supplies, meeting established project timelines, and maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Install automotive window tint on cars, trucks, SUVs, recreational vehicles, and other vehicle types.
  • Install vinyl graphics, custom vehicle wraps, decals, and lettering on a variety of vehicles and units.
  • Prepare vehicles and surfaces for installation, including washing, cleaning, use of isopropyl alcohol, primer application, and other required preparation procedures.
  • Remove existing graphics, vinyl, tint, and adhesive from vehicles and other substrates.
  • Remove and reinstall vehicle components and accessories as necessary to properly complete installations, including mirrors, wipers, antennas, lights, emblems, door handles, and other components.
  • Use tint-cutting and graphics software to accurately measure, pattern, and cut materials for specific vehicle applications.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of tint materials, vinyl products, application techniques, and appropriate tools and equipment.
  • Follow proper industry installation techniques, including cutting, sealing, setting, and finishing procedures.
  • Maintain a high standard of workmanship and inspect completed installations to ensure a clean, professional, and quality finish.
  • Complete assigned projects within established timelines without compromising quality or workmanship.
  • Maintain tint, vinyl, and installation supplies and ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and ready for use.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and others involved in the production and installation process.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Previous experience with automotive window tinting and/or vinyl graphics installation is highly desirable.
  • Experience with automotive wraps, lettering, decals, or related applications is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to work carefully and efficiently while meeting production deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with others.
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
