Job description

Overview

Glazton LLC is seeking a skilled and dependable Auto Glass Technician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for performing high-quality automotive glass repairs, replacements, and related services while delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, detail-oriented, and committed to providing professional workmanship in both shop and mobile service environments.

Responsibilities

  • Perform windshield replacements, chip repairs, and installation of automotive glass components.
  • Remove and install windshields, door glass, back glass, quarter glass, and sunroofs.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections before and after service to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Perform or assist with ADAS calibrations as required.
  • Protect customer vehicles during installation and maintain a clean work area.
  • Complete work orders, service documentation, and customer signatures accurately.
  • Follow all company, manufacturer, and safety procedures.
  • Maintain company tools, equipment, and service vehicles in good working condition.
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service at every interaction.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Previous auto glass installation experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Excellent problem-solving and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Comfortable using smartphones and tablets for work orders and communication.
  • Experience with ADAS calibration is a plus.
  • AGSC certification or willingness to obtain certification preferred.
  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality workmanship.
