Job description

We are seeking an ambitious Internal Account Manager to join our team and drive growth across our automotive floorplan business while serving as a trusted partner to our dealership network.

Operating as a desk-based sales and account specialist, you will leverage strong interpersonal skills and a proven sales aptitude to prospect, onboard, and establish relationships with new auto dealerships. In addition to expansion efforts, you will work hand-in-hand with our floorplan operations team to educate partners, manage credit utilization, and support day-to-day dealership account needs. Your proactive outreach and operational coordination will directly expand our dealer network and strengthen brand awareness in the commercial auto finance space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Audit Reconciliation & Asset Tracking: Review and reconcile third-party floorplan inventory audit reports.

  • Collections & Portfolio Management: Monitor daily account standings to ensure dealership payments are submitted on time. Serve as the primary point of contact for dealer partners, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction with our floorplan services.

  • Risk Management & Decision-Making: Assess situational risks across the portfolio and make grounded operational decisions to minimize financial risk.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience: 1–3+ years in account management, customer service, collections, or operations (experience in automotive finance, floorplanning, or dealership operations is a major plus). Comfortable navigating CRM platforms and portfolio management tools.

  • Communication Skills: Professional, clear, and assertive phone and written communication; comfortable conducting firm collection calls while maintaining positive client relationships.

  • Multitasking Ability: Exceptional organization and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously in a dynamic setting.

  • Problem-Solving & Risk Assessment: Strong critical thinking skills with a proven track record of making sound, risk-conscious decisions.

  • Language Skills: Multilingual candidates are a plus, particularly fluency in Portuguese and/or Spanish.
