Commercial Fleet Sales Manager

 

Jim Norton Ford is looking for an experienced, determined, and organized candidate to coordinate and run our fleet sales department. Join Oklahoma’s largest Automotive Group, doing business in the Tulsa area for over 80 years. We offer an aggressive compensation package for the right candidate. Let's get together to discuss your future with our award-winning organization. Experience in automotive fleet sales is required and having your own book of business is a plus. 

Job Responsibilities:

  • Call upon Commercial accounts to increase fleet sales.
  • Maintain current business-to-business accounts.
  • Generate new commercial accounts.
  • Visit existing and potential businesses.
  • Attend networking events/meetings.
  • Understand and implement dealership sales process.
  • Present and demonstrate inventory.
  • Remain up to date on products, market trends and certification.
  • Learn and be proficient with dealership’s sales processes and computer programs.

 Skills/Qualifications:

  • Interested in Business-to-Business sales
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Passion for customer satisfaction
  • Willing to make cold calls and network
  • Experience in sales (doesn’t matter what industry)
  • Energetic Personality a plus
  • Commission pay plan based on units sold
  • Must possess a valid drivers’ license.

 Physical Requirements:

  • The physical requirements of the position are Light to Medium Work.
  • Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision comparable necessary to drive vehicles safely.
  • Constant – Reaching, sitting, standing, walking, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, and hearing.
  • Frequent – Repetitive motion.
  • Occasional – Balancing, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, and lifting (~ 15-20 lbs.)

 Physical Working Conditions:

  • This position is subject to inside and outside environmental working conditions including but not limited to:  temperature changes, outside weather conditions, slightly elevated ambient noise levels, minor potential physical hazards as electrical, mechanical, and cleaning equipment, and minor atmospheric conditions affecting skin or respiratory systems such as fumes, odors and dusts associated with operating an auto dealership
    .
