An auto dealership driver is a dynamic role that combines customer service with maintenance and any other ad hoc duties assigned. In addition to greeting customers as they arrive and directing them to the right service advisors, your responsibilities include transporting customers and employees between dealerships and other destinations. Dealership service shops rely on drivers to move cars in and out of service bays and keep vehicle lots neat, and you may move units to create new displays. Larger automotive groups may require you to drive a courtesy shuttle between dealerships or around the lot.
