Vehicle Inspector/Condition Writer
Growing national auto auction! Vehicle Inspector/Condition Writer needed for our Phoenix auction! The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently and as part of a team. No experience is required. Training will be provided. The ability to be outside and on your feet most of the time is required for the success of this role.


Prior experience with frame/structural detection experience is a plus. Experience as one of the following is preferred: Auction Condition Writer, Automotive Repair, Rental Car Damage Inspector, Insurance Appraiser/Adjuster, Collision/Body Shop Estimator or related Automotive Inspector experience.

Work hours for Vehicle Inspector/Condition Writer

Responsibilities for Vehicle Inspector/Condition Writer

  • Perform vehicle inspections and complete accurate cosmetic and mechanical condition reports.
  • Document and photograph vehicle details, damages, and safety concerns.
  • Coordinate vehicle reconditioning and repair processes.
  • Move and stage vehicles to support auction and sales operations.
  • Remove personally Identifiable Information (PII) from vehicles.
  • Provide professional customer service and communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and team members.
  • Maintain productivity, accuracy, and quality standards.
  • Keep work areas clean and properly maintain tools and equipment.
  • Follow all company safety, compliance, and confidentiality policies.
  • Travel locally as needed and perform additional duties assigned by management.
