Up to $30/Hour Flat Rate – Unlimited Pay Potential! 4x10 Schedule Available!

Looking for a shop where your speed and skill actually pay off? At our Des Moines collision center, you're paid flat rate, which means the faster and better you work, the more you earn. There's no cap on what a skilled tech can make here. Add in a 4x10 schedule option (work four 10-hour days and get a consistent extra day off every week), and you've got a role built around your paycheck and your life outside of work.

We're a high-volume, Tesla-certified repair facility, which means steady work, advanced training, and repairs on some of the most in-demand vehicles on the road today.

What We Offer

  • Flat rate pay of $22 to $30 per hour, with unlimited pay potential. Your production determines your paycheck, and there's no ceiling on what you can earn.
  • 4x10 schedule available. Work four 10-hour days and enjoy a three-day weekend, every week. A traditional Monday through Friday schedule is also available if you prefer it.
  • Top-tier workspace with state-of-the-art tools, laptop access, and I-CAR training.
  • Tesla certification, to keep your skills and your resume ahead of the curve.
  • Comprehensive benefits including health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) with company match.
  • Paid time off and paid holidays.
  • Real growth potential in a fast-evolving, high-tech industry.

About the Role

As an Auto Body Technician, you'll restore vehicles to pre-accident condition using modern tools, frame and measuring equipment, and industry-leading repair procedures. This is a fast-paced, high-volume shop, so if you take pride in efficient, high-quality work, your production will show up directly in your paycheck.

What You'll Do

  • Perform collision repairs, including welding, sheet metal work, and refinishing.
  • Use frame and measuring equipment to restore vehicles to precise manufacturer specifications.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Work closely with your team to hit repair deadlines without sacrificing quality.
  • Keep your workspace clean and organized and follow all shop safety protocols.
  • Stay current on industry trends, including aluminum and electric vehicle repair, including Tesla.

What We're Looking For

  • Proficiency in I-CAR welding and hands-on experience with frame and measuring equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple repairs at once.
  • Your own tools, in good working order.
  • Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record.

Why Techs Choose Us

  • Flat rate pay with no cap, so your skill and speed translate directly into higher earnings.
  • A true 4x10 option, giving you a three-day weekend every week if you want it.
  • Steady, high volume of work in a modern, well-equipped shop.
  • Tesla certification and ongoing I-CAR training to keep building your skill set.
  • A team environment that supports you in doing your best work, not just clocking in.
