Are you a highly motivated and reliable Paint Prepper? Are you looking for a collision repair company that values People and Processes while working alongside those with a Passion for auto repair?  This is your opportunity!

Each teammate is a valued part of the repair process.  We support our team with the tools and technology needed to be successful: state-of-the-art paint and prepping equipment and all the training you can handle. You will expand your skills while being paid! Many of our Preppers grow into Painters.

As a Paint Prepper, you will be responsible for supporting our paint technicians. In this position, you will prepare various auto parts for the paint application process and ensure quality work has been completed. 

Job Requirements:

  • Prepare the vehicle for paint by sanding, removal of oils, debris, or imperfections

  • Taping off components where paint should not be applied

  • Assist in the application and preparation of paint after repair work is complete

  • Buff or clean surfaces after the paint dries

  • Correct defects on the finished product 

  • Request necessary materials

  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area

Skills, Qualifications, & Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience as a paint prepper in an auto body shop preferred

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • HS Diploma or GED, Auto Body Vo-Tech certification strongly preferred

  • Ability to effectively communicate with others

  • Ability to read and understand basic instructions, written estimates, and work orders

  • Multi-tasking; adapt easily to fast-paced environments

  • Must be able to wear a respirator

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stoop, bend, squat, kneel and pull

  • Extended periods of kneeling, bending, and squatting to complete or inspect repairs

  • Carry and lift heavy objects (up to 80lbs)

  • Manual dexterity and eye/hand coordination to operate equipment

  • Standing, sitting, and walking

  • Performing repetitive motions
