Automotive Body Technician Mentee

Midland Ford Lincoln is seeking a motivated Automotive Body Technician Mentee to join our collision repair team. This is an entry-to-mid-level opportunity designed for individuals looking to grow their career in the collision repair industry.

As a Body Tech Mentee, you will work alongside experienced technicians, receive hands-on training, and develop the skills needed to perform high-quality repairs that meet manufacturer and dealership standards. This is a great opportunity for someone with foundational experience (or technical training) who wants to advance in a high-production, professional shop environment.

Responsibilities

Under the guidance of senior technicians, you will:

  • Assist with teardown and reassembly of vehicles

  • Help measure, pull, and repair structural damage

  • Assist with aluminum repair processes

  • Perform quality checks after repairs

  • Maintain productivity and manage time effectively

Qualifications
  • 0โ€“2 years of body shop or collision repair experience preferred

  • Technical school training is a plus

  • Strong communication skills
