Job description

Join our dynamic automotive team as a Used Car & Truck Technician, where your expertise will drive excellence in vehicle maintenance and repair. Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive inspections and diagnostics on used vehicles to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using automotive diagnostic tools and schematics.
  • Conduct repairs on various vehicle systems including engines (gasoline and diesel), transmissions, powertrains, brakes, suspension, steering, and electrical systems.
  • Repair or replace components such as ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), sensors, wiring harnesses, and other electronic modules to ensure vehicle safety features function correctly.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and specialized automotive repair tools to complete repairs efficiently and safely.
  • Perform wheel alignments and tire rotations to optimize vehicle handling and prolong component lifespan.
  • Maintain detailed records of all repairs performed, including parts used and diagnostic findings, adhering to dealership standards.
  • Assist with vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil changes, fluid replacements, filter changes, and routine inspections to uphold quality standards for used vehicles.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while delivering exceptional customer service by explaining repair procedures clearly.

Requirements

  • Proven dealership experience or extensive mechanic experience working with used vehicles is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and diagnostics tools.
  • Experience repairing diesel engines and working with powertrain components is a plus.
  • Familiarity with ADAS technology calibration and troubleshooting is desirable.
  • Ability to perform wheel alignments accurately using specialized equipment.
