Job Summary and Qualifications

Operates Radiology imaging equipment to produce images of patient's body for diagnostic purposes and assist physicians with procedures in sterile environment.

What you will do in this role:

  • You will prepare patient for radiological procedure by positioning patient, adjusting immobilization devices, moving equipment into a specified position, and adjusting equipment controls to set exposure factors.
  • Assist providers with Radiography equipment in both the OR and procedure setting
  • Perform Fluoroscopy, general radiography in numerous setting, including the Emergency Dept
  • Able to operate all needed Radiology and IT systems for patient processing and workflow

  • Excel at patient experience 

  • Perform radiography in the Main Hospital ED, Fluoroscopy procedures, Portable Radiographs

  • You will operate diagnostic equipment, process images and prepare room with the necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure.

 What qualifications you will need:

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
  • Graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as Radiology Technologist is highly preferred. Experience with Radiography in an OR setting is highly preferred.
