Job description

Revology Cars is hiring a Master Auto Body Restoration Technician at the Orlando, Florida, facility, where we build and restore 1960s and 1970s Fordยฎ Mustangยฎ and Shelbyยฎ GT Mustang automobiles.

**ABOUT THE JOB **

Master Auto Body Restoration Technicians at Revology Cars work in different departments, including Body, Paint, Trim, and Final Assembly, and perform a variety of tasks. The Master Auto Body Restoration Technician will be assigned to a specific department based on staffing needs and the technician's skill set and interests. Assignments may include some or all of the following:

  • Welding, fitting, and gapping body panelsโ€ฏ
  • Using metalwork techniques to shape panels accurately without warpage, avoiding the use of fillers
  • Metal finishing and assembly of automobile bodies
  • Blocking, sanding, masking, and primer application
  • Wet sanding and buffing
  • Installation and alignment of doors, fenders, hoods, fascias, bumpers, windows, exterior and interior trim, moldings, and other components, adhering to a tolerance of +/- 0.5mm
  • Adjusting windows and doors to meet gap specs, eliminate wind noise and be watertight
  • Installation and/or assembly of powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, driveshafts, rear axle assemblies, fuel systems, and exhaust systems
  • Installation of powertrain electronics, control modules, and harnesses
  • Install and assembly of chassis components including suspension, steering, and brakes
  • Installation of automotive interiors

**QUALIFICATIONS **

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Professional experience in heavy collision, custom car builds, and/or restoration
  • Must have successfully completed a technical program in auto body repair or have equivalent experience in automotive body, restoration, and/or mechanical work
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to use, or willingness to learn to use, an iPad
  • A paid work test will be required to demonstrate your skillset and allow our team to evaluate your skills, techniques, and abilities

PAY AND BENEFITS

  • Master Auto Body Technicians earn between $60,000 and 100,000 annually
  • This is NOT a flat-rate job, hours and pay are stable, and you will earn $28-$40 per hour depending on skills and experience
  • Monday to Friday from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm with ocassional overtime
  • Company-sponsored medical, dental, and vision coverage
  • 80 hoursof Paid Time Off (PTO) annually
  • 401(k) with up to 4% company match
  • 10 paid holidays annually
