Job description

The Auto Body Technician plays a crucial role in restoring vehicles to their pre-accident condition through expert collision repair, high end classic car restorations, painting, dent removal, and parts replacement. Working within a team, this position involves using both manual tools and computerized diagnostic equipment to deliver high-quality surface preparation and refinishing services for various vehicle types. The technician ensures attention to detail and safety compliance while interacting professionally with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform collision repair and dent removal with precision
  • Prepare vehicle surfaces and apply paint using paint guns and pots
  • Mix and color match paints accurately
  • Replace damaged parts as needed
  • Inspect completed work for quality and completeness
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
  • Interact professionally with customers regarding repairs and timelines

Required Qualifications

  • Technical diploma or certification in auto body repair

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in auto body repair
  • Skills in welding, painting and refinishing, and dent repair
  • Knowledge of safety regulations
