Job description

Dolan Auto Group, named Best Place to Work in Northern Nevada, is looking for a Parts Department Driver to work in our parts department to ensure the correct parts are delivered and received in a safe and timely manner to the correct destination.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Primary duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Verify that the correct parts are included in the shipment.
  • Stock shelves with incoming parts.
  • Deliver parts intercompany and to independent repair facilities.
  • Make sure parts are delivered on time.
  • Input parts inventory into our system scanning via scanning solutions.
  • Notify your manager if there are any discrepancies in the delivery.
  • Inspect delivery vehicle to make sure it is up to date with its services & maintenance.
  • Clear debris of parts packaging maintain a clean workspace, empty garbage cans daily & sweep the department.
  • Providing safe, timely, and correct parts deliveries to our wholesale customers.
  • Establishing an efficient route of delivery.
  • Maintaining professional attitude, conduct, and experience.
  • Operating the delivery vehicle (car, van, or pick-up) in a safe and cautious fashion to maintain a clean driving record

Physical Demands:

Physical demands include, but are not limited to:

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
