Here's what you'll be doing:
  • Wash vehicle exteriors using cleaning solution, water, cloths and brushes
  • Apply wax to auto body and wipe or buff surfaces to protect surfaces and preserve shine using cloth or buffing machine
  • Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices. Vacuum interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris using a vacuum cleaner
  • Apply revitalizer and preservatives to vinyl or leather surfaces and treat fabrics with spot and stain resistant chemicals to preserve and protect interior components
  • Apply special purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which do not respond to normal cleaning procedures, utilizing experience and following recommendations of product manufacturer
  • Clean engine and engine compartment with steam cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents to remove grease and grime
  • Apply paint to chipped body surfaces of vehicle
  • Apply dyes and reconditioning chemical to vinyl tops of vehicle to restore color and condition
  • Other duties as assigned

Here's what you'll need:
  • Prior detailer or car wash experience preferred
  • Must be 18 years or older and be authorized to work in the U.S
  • Valid in-state driver's license
  • Ability to read and comprehend job related instructions and information
  • Excellent manual dexterity skills as well as patience and an eye for detail
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role
