Auto Body Collision Estimator

Company: General Collision Center
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Location: On-site

About the Job

General Collision Center is hiring an experienced Auto Body Collision Estimator to join our independent, quality-driven collision repair facility. We are a NON-DRP shop, allowing our estimators to focus on proper repairs, OEM procedures, and customer advocacy — not insurance shortcuts.

This role is ideal for an estimator who values accuracy, professionalism, and long-term growth.

Responsibilities
  • Inspect vehicles and assess collision damage

  • Write accurate repair estimates using CCC ONE

  • Previous experience with ROME/CDK (preferred)

  • Upload photos, estimates, and documentation to insurance portals

  • Communicate clearly with customers and insurance adjusters

  • Identify additional damage and write supplements

  • Coordinate repair flow with technicians and parts department

  • Review repair plans to ensure safe, OEM-compliant repairs

  • Deliver excellent customer service throughout the repair process

Qualifications
  • Experience as an Auto Body Collision Estimator (required)

  • Strong knowledge of collision repair procedures and labor operations

  • Experience with estimating software (CCC ONE)

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple estimates at once

  • Attention to detail and strong documentation skills

  • Valid driver’s license

Preferred (Not Required)
  • I-CAR and/or ASE certifications

  • Experience in an independent body shop environment
