We are looking for a dedicated Automotive Body and Collision Damage Repair Technician to be an integral part of the daily operations at our Aviva AutoCare Centre located in Mississauga.

You will work closely with the production team and will be responsible for the panel preparation repair activity, including fenders, bumpers and other vehicle components in the Solus Canada site. You will ensure 'what matters' to our customers is central to how the business operates by achieving customer satisfaction and financial performance while producing quality repairs.

What You'll Do:

  • Repair and/or replace frame and structural components, mechanical, interior and electrical components, plastic and composite panels and sheet metal panels.

  • Remove, repair or replace, reshape and refit body panels

  • Straighten and align frames and unibody assemblies

  • Remove, repair or replace wiring harnesses, air conditioning systems and mechanical components.

  • Welding breaks in panels or on installing new structural panels

  • Ensure high quality repairs meet industry and safety standards

  • Maintain clean and organized work areas, tools, and equipment

  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and handling of materials

  • Be an active member of the team encouraging a collaborative working environment focusing on what matters to the customer

  • Promote AvivaAutoCareCentre values and goals

What You'll Bring:

  • Red Seal - Auto Body and Collision Damage Repairer (310B), or actively registered apprenticeship are highly preferred.

  • I-Car, manufacturer or other certifications are an asset

  • Working knowledge of Health & Safety legislation

  • Experience in vehicle panel repairs and a solid understanding of repair methods

  • Valid driver's license

  • Commitment to an environment of continuous improvement

  • Effectively manage a fast-paced environment,demonstratingmulti-tasking ability while working under pressure

  • Demonstrates adaptability and openness to change with a proactive mindset in embracing new work practices and technologies

What You'll get:

  • The salary band for this position ranges from $60,000 to $90,000. Please note that individual salary is determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience, as well as internal equity.
