Schedule: 7:00am - 3:00pm, Tuesday - Saturday or Sunday - Thursday

RESPONSIBILITIES AND JOB ACTIVITIES:
1. You are required to punch in and report to your line minimum 5 - 10 minutes prior to the start of your shift to ensure adequate communication for shift start up.
2. Be familiar with and follow safety rules and procedures including safety wear, lockout/tag out, and emergency procedures. Notify a supervisor or production trainer of any safety hazards, or safety suggestions.
3. Continually gain knowledge of the products and the production processes through on-the-job training.
4. Each employee is responsible for confirming their knowledge of the daily product requirements by reading and following the product specification sheet(s) and signing off on them at start-up of the product. This would include the following:
a. Monitor weights as required, packing only ones at specified weights.
b. Accurately count while packing.
c. Correct tape and label placement on exterior packaging.
d. Proper stacking pattern on pallets and pallet tags as needed.
5. Visually inspect products to ensure they are free of defects. Alert line operator, shift supervisor, shift coordinator, or quality department personnel to product quality issues.
6. Inform Material Handlers about production packaging needs well before packaging is needed to avoid downtime.
7. Perform specified quality checks as required.
8. Ensure the daily line packaging reports are completed accurately and completely by the end of the shift.
9. Perform a complete and detailed turnover with the next shift.
10. Maintain a neat, orderly, and clean department and work environment throughout the shift.
11. Follow required cleaning duties at end of shift.
12. Assist with the training of new personnel.
13. Be flexible regarding working on multiple production lines on an as needed basis.
14. Perform duties as a team member by assisting coworkers as needed.
15. Perform overtime and other duties as required.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
EDUCATION High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
EXPERIENCE Some production is preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Excellent attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to maintain speed in picking of parts is required. Basic math skills are required. Flexibility, initiative, and teamwork are required. Must be able to follow directions exactly and be flexible in daily duties.
EQUIPMENT OPERATED Pallet jack (electric and manual), Tape machine, Bottle filler, Speedee filler, Inkjet machine, pallet wrapper, various scales, cartoning, labeling, and assembly equipment, Auto-bagger, mop, bucket, broom, dustpan, and shop vacuum.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Ability to lift-up to 50 pounds and standing for 8 hours is required.
