ASSOCIATE, PERSONAL INSURANCE

The successful candidate will provide administrative support for our Client Advisors by processing various transactions within the broker management system that covers home, auto insurance policies. With a detail-oriented approach, the Associate, Personal Insurance will assist in renewal checking, renewal marketing, new business quoting, review the accuracy of the transactions done by Client Advisors, and ensure the information within the broker management system is complete, consistent, and up-to-date. The individual holding this position may also be required to work as part of a team on a variety of short- and long-term projects, where the ability to quickly switch between tasks is required. The successful candidate will use critical thinking, problem- solving and analytical skills daily, maintain a high level of personal and group organization, and work effectively with minimal supervision. A thoughtful and educated approach will be taken by the Associate, Personal Insurance when processing transactions and completing project work, and they will be expected to keep up with industry changes, as well as insurer product offerings and underwriting requirements.

LOCATON & STATUS

Location: Surrey, BC

Status: Permanent, full-time

Compensation: Acera's total compensation offerings are based on pay for performance that recognizes exceptional individual and company performance.  The typical hiring range for this position is from $45,000 - $60,000 CAD annually; the pay offering is based on location and will vary depending on related education, insurance experience, proven knowledge, skills, and internal equity. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 1+ years of related and progressive experience in the insurance industry with a strong working knowledge of personal insurance products;
  • Knowledge of personal insurance considered an asset;  
  • Level 1 insurance license, or working towards;
