Job description

John the Muffler Man has been a family owned business for over 80 years in its 3rd generation of ownership.  We take pride in professionally servicing our surrounding community and our loyal repeat customer base.  By focusing mainly on customer service and quality repairs, it has grown our business from solely exhaust repairs to a complete under car care facility.

We are looking to add an experienced technician/mechanic to our talented and dedicated team.
Job Expectations:

  • Knowledgeable about car repairs
  • Diagnose and repair vehicles accurately in a timely manner
  • Provide your own tools and tool box
  • Able to multitask in a busy environment
  • Properly use scanners and diagnostic equipment
  • Communicate well with Service Writer and Managers
  • Drive cars in and out of shop
  • Keep work bay clean and organized
  • Assist in closing up shop at the end of the day
Requirements:

  • Experience:
    • 5 years Auto Service Technician and/or Auto Apprenticeship
  • Able to work well in a team atmosphere
  • Must have valid Drivers License & clean driving record **There is a gated parking lot for employee parking*
  • Exemplary customer service
