Job Description:

The Auto Body Apprentice repairs minor vehicle damage while shadowing a licensed Auto Body Technician. The Auto Body Apprentice works with all team members in achieving the repair facilities' KPIs.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
  • Repairs vehicles as per insurance guidelines and our quality standards
  • Inspect and disassemble the vehicle to determine all damages at the beginning of the repair
  • Repair minor damage to vehicle's body panels
  • Repair or replace interior and exterior parts, electrical components and vehicle accessories
  • Reassemble vehicle once repairs are complete
  • Inspect completed work to ensure the repair is up to quality standards
  • Shadow a Licensed Auto Body Technician to perform repairs
  • Actively pursues learning opportunities and applies newly gained knowledge to tasks, contributing to high-quality work and continuous improvement.

Minimum Education and/or Experience Required for the Job

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of Post-Secondary Education in an Auto Body Repair Program
  • Minimum 1 years of Auto Body Technician experience

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Welding experience (MIG, TIG welding)

Other RequirementsTravel, physical requirements, etc.

  • Frequently required to bend, crouch, reach, handle tools and lift approximately 50 lbs.
  • You have your own toolbox
  • Valid driver's license required

Compensation:
