Division Lead - Nuclear Medicine - New York CityOnsite or Remote Permanent Academic Leadership Executive CompensationPosition OverviewA nationally prominent academic Department of Nuclear Medicine is seeking a Division Lead for Nuclear Medicine to provide strategic, clinical, and academic leadership across multiple clinical sites in a major New York City borough. This is an exceptional opportunity for a visionary physician leader with deep expertise in nuclear medicine, molecular imaging, and theranostics to join one of the country's top-ranked institutions serving one of the most diverse patient populations in the nation.

Leadership & Clinical Scope
  • Lead and expand advanced cardiothoracic and nuclear imaging services across four clinical sites
  • Oversight includes:
    • General and cardiac nuclear medicine
    • SPECT and SPECT-CT
    • PET-CT
    • Theranostics
  • Serve as Authorized User for the medical center, advising on new radiopharmaceuticals and therapeutic agents
  • Active participation in:
    • Interdisciplinary tumor boards
    • Multidisciplinary conferences in collaboration with:
      • Children's Hospital
      • Comprehensive Cancer Center
      • Center for Transplantation
  • Work closely with internal and external partners, including industry leaders and federal agencies
  • Academic & Research Environment
    • Major role in education of medical students, residents, and fellows in nuclear medicine and diagnostic radiology
    • Division supported by a cutting-edge small animal imaging facility, including:
      • PET/CT
      • SPECT/CT
      • MRI
  • Strong expectation and support for:

  • Qualifications
    • MD or DO
    • Board Certification in Nuclear Medicine (ABNM) or Nuclear Radiology (ABR/ABNM)

  • Proven academic track record, including publications and funded research
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching and mentorship
