Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Patrol Access Control

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a contract logistics location, helping to deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment. You will conduct routine patrols, observe and report activity, assist with access control, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

DayTime Thur 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM

Fri 05:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, loading areas, parking areas and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
  • Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
