Security Officer Experienced Site Patrol

As a Security Officer Experienced Site Patrol in Baton Rouge, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, members, visitors, and vendors while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies at a financial services location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, including appropriate emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building, parking areas, and perimeter to identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and policy violations.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, and assist with visitor management to help protect restricted areas and sensitive information.
  • Document patrol activity and incidents accurately, and promptly communicate concerns to Allied Universal leadership and/or designated client contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Have at least two years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
