Casual Position - Physician - Hospitalist
Aultman Hospital - Canton, Ohio

Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Load: Average of 16.82 patients per day.
  • Admissions: Typically handle one admission per day, with a full-time swing shift physician covering most daytime admissions.
  • Procedures: Closed ICU. No procedures required. Ultrasound available for POCUS, which is reimbursed per procedure as an additional income opportunity.
  • Team Structure: Work within a strong, collaborative team that includes:
    • 9 Physicians and 4 Nurse Practitioners rounding daily.
    • A Medical Director onsite.
    • An RN Executive Director.
    • 2 RN Care Coordinators.
    • 2 Administrative Assistants.
  • Meetings & Events:
    • Brief 15-minute daily huddle M-F to discuss census, care needs, etc.
    • Division meetings every 6-8 weeks to discuss group performance, challenges, and initiatives.
    • An annual offsite event for team socialization and group discussion.
    • A yearly holiday party in December to foster camaraderie.
