Job description

Medical Claims Quality Auditor

Pay Rate: $25.00/hour
Location: Houston Heights Area, 77018 (100% Onsite)
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Position Type: Contract-to-Hire

Join a growing healthcare services organization that specializes in medical claims review, dispute resolution, and arbitration support. We are seeking a detail-oriented professional with experience in medical billing, coding, claims analysis, healthcare administration, or related fields.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and audit medical claims decisions for accuracy, quality, and compliance.
  • Analyze claims data and identify trends or discrepancies.
  • Communicate with arbitrators and stakeholders to obtain or provide supporting documentation.
  • Process and submit final determinations through internal systems.
  • Ensure accuracy, quality standards, and established deadlines are consistently met.
  • Maintain detailed records and support continuous process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Experience in medical billing, coding, claims review, claims auditing, or healthcare administration.
  • Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of arbitration, dispute resolution, or regulatory processes is preferred.
  • Medical coding certification and/or paralegal experience is a plus.
  • Proficient with data entry and navigating multiple systems.

Due to Houston traffic and the fully onsite nature of the role, candidates should reside within approximately 30 minutes of the Houston Heights area.
