Position Summary
The Staging Center Manager is responsible for overseeing all staging center operations, including asset receiving, inventory management, device configuration, deployment readiness, logistics coordination, and staff management. This role ensures the efficient preparation and delivery of IT equipment and technology solutions to support customer projects, field operations, and service delivery commitments.
The Staging Center Manager leads a team of staging technicians and field engineers while maintaining operational excellence, inventory accuracy, quality standards, and compliance with company and customer requirements. This position serves as a critical link between operations, procurement, project management, field services, logistics, and customer stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Management
• Direct and oversee daily staging center operations.
• Develop and implement processes for receiving, staging, configuring, testing, shipping, and returning technology assets.
• Ensure timely execution of deployment schedules and project deliverables.
• Monitor operational performance and resource utilization to achieve service-level agreements (SLAs).
• Continuously evaluate and improve operational workflows and efficiencies.
Team Leadership
• Lead, coach, and develop staging center personnel.
• Assign workloads and establish priorities based on project demands and business objectives.
• Conduct performance discussions, training, and career development activities.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.

Financial & Business Management
• Manage operational budgets, equipment purchases, and resource planning.

Customer & Stakeholder Management

Required Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.

Experience
• 5+ years of experience in IT operations, deployment services, logistics, inventory management, or technical service delivery.
• 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience managing technology deployment, asset management, or staging center operations.
• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced operational environment.
Technical Skills
• Microsoft Windows operating systems and endpoint deployment processes.
• Microsoft 365 applications and collaboration tools.

The total compensation range for this role in the posted location is $64,366.00 - $115,000.00 USD.
