We are partnering with a growing CPA firm seeking an Audit Manager to join their team in a highly visible leadership role. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with clients across multiple industries while leading engagements, developing staff, and serving as a key advisor to both clients and internal leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage audit, review, and assurance engagements from planning through completion
  • Oversee multiple client engagements simultaneously while ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met
  • Review financial statements and workpapers for accuracy and compliance with applicable standards
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and build strong long term relationships
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop audit staff and seniors through coaching and performance feedback
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and provide value added recommendations to clients
  • Collaborate with firm leadership on practice development initiatives and client service strategies
  • Assist with engagement budgeting, staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation
  • Support recruiting, training, and team development efforts as needed


Qualifications

  • Active CPA required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master’s preferred
  • 5+ years of public accounting experience with progressive audit responsibilities
  • Previous experience leading engagements and supervising staff required
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, GAAS, and financial reporting requirements
  • Experience working with privately held companies, middle market clients, or closely held businesses preferred
  • Strong communication, leadership, and client relationship management skills
