The Audiologist will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating patients with hearing, balance, and related disorders for patients of all ages. This role works closely with our ENT physicians and clinical staff to deliver high-quality patient care, from initial diagnostic testing through hearing aid fitting and ongoing patient management. We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Audiologist to join our growing clinical team and help our patients achieve better hearing health and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive audiological evaluations, including pure-tone audiometry, speech audiometry, tympanometry, and otoacoustic emissions (OAE) testing
  • Interpret test results and prepare clear, accurate clinical documentation and reports for physicians
  • Collaborate with ENT physicians on diagnosis and treatment planning for patients with hearing loss, balance disorders, and related conditions
  • Evaluate, select, fit, and program hearing aids and assistive listening devices
  • Provide hearing aid counseling, orientation, and follow-up care, including troubleshooting and adjustments
  • Educate patients and families on hearing loss, hearing protection, and device care
  • Maintain and calibrate audiological equipment per manufacturer and regulatory standards
  • Stay current with advances in audiology through continuing education and professional development
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, state licensure requirements, and practice policies

Requirements
  • Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) degree from an accredited program
  • Current state licensure in Virginia
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) or eligibility
  • Minimum of 4 years of clinical audiology experience
  • Prior experience in an ENT practice setting preferred
  • Proven experience selling or dispensing hearing aids and working with major hearing aid manufacturers
  • Strong diagnostic, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-first approach
  • Proficiency with audiometric and hearing aid fitting software/equipment
