Job description

Audiologist / Hearing Instrument Specialist - Statesville, NC

Schedule: Full-time

Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for an Audiologist / Hearing Instrument Specialist in our clinic. The role involves conducting hearing assessments, diagnosing hearing disorders, fitting and servicing hearing aids, and providing patient-centered care to improve communication needs. Day-to-day tasks include performing audiometric evaluations, customizing hearing aid fittings, conducting follow-up appointments, and counseling patients on hearing aid use and maintenance. The specialist will also collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care!
Qualifications:

  • Audiometric evaluation and hearing assessment skills

  • Proficiency in fitting, adjusting, and servicing hearing aids

  • Patient counseling and education on hearing aid use and maintenance

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team

  • Knowledge of hearing aid technology and auditory rehabilitation

  • Current state licensure and certification from relevant professional bodies (e.g., ASHA, ABA) is preferred

  • Experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is preferred
