Baylor Scott and White Health is seeking an experienced, BE/BC, Doctorate level Audiologist (Ph.D. or AuD) to join our team in our outstanding ENT/Audiology care program in our Austin Pflugerville Medical Center and Specialty Clinic. This position will focus on both pediatric and adult audiology patients. We are looking for a committed team player with a favorable work/training history. We are currently seeking a candidate with a true passion for helping people communicate better through comprehensive audiological evaluations, which may include diagnostic audiologic hearing evaluations for patients of all ages, electrophysiological evaluations (ABR, OAE, Ecog, VEMP), vestibular testing (ENG/VNG and rotary chair), cochlear implant evaluations and mapping, hearing aid dispensing and follow-up. Previous experience in performing these examinations is preferred.

Requirements:

  • Valid Texas Audiology license.
  • Current American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certification.
  • Previous experience in a hospital setting is preferred but not required.
  • At least three years of clinical experience, including testing and fitting for hearing aids, preferred but not required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
