Audiology Island is a busy, growing private practice seeking a full-time Audiologist in Staten Island, NY. This position offers the opportunity to work with both adult and pediatric patients across a broad clinical scope in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

They are seeking an Audiologist who enjoys variety, thinks independently, and is committed to continuing to develop their clinical skills. Training is available in specialty areas, making this a great opportunity for both experienced Audiologists and motivated new graduates who are comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
Scope of Practice
  • Comprehensive hearing evaluations and diagnostic audiology for adults and pediatric patients, including children under age 5
  • Hearing-aid selection, fitting, verification, and follow-up using evidence-based best practices
  • Cochlear implant (CI) and bone-anchored hearing system (BAHA) services
  • Auditory Processing Disorder (APD) testing and therapy
  • Vestibular and electrophysiological testing, including VNG and ABR
  • Tinnitus evaluation and treatment
  • Veteran C&P examinations
  • Aural rehabilitation, including LACE
  • Extended-wear hearing aids (Lyric)
Requirements
  • Doctor of Audiology (AuD) degree
  • Current or eligible for New York State audiology licensure
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
  • Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced private practice environment
  • Interest in practicing across a broad clinical scope and developing skills in new areas of audiology
