Location: Nations Benefits Hearing Center in SW Austin, TX-Sam's Club #4720 4970 W Highway 290, Austin, TX 78735 Position Overview: In this position, you will be responsible for evaluating hearing aid candidacy, recommending and fitting hearing aids, and building lasting relationships with patients through education, follow-up care, and community engagement. You will work in a retail-based clinical environment that combines professional autonomy with strong operational support.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations using best-practice clinical protocols
  • Interpret test results and recommend individualized hearing care solutions based on patient needs and lifestyle
  • Present product options clearly, emphasizing value, long-term benefits, and patient outcomes
  • Program, fit, and verify hearing instruments, including new, premium technology from major manufacturers
  • Perform routine follow-up visits, cleanings, adjustments, and hearing aid repairs
  • Maintain accurate and compliant patient records, including documentation and outcome measures
  • Deliver exceptional service that supports patient satisfaction, loyalty, and positive clinical outcomes
  • Collaborate with leadership and peers to support center performance and continuous improvement

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Current Audiology license or Hearing Aid Dispensing license in the state of role (required)
  • Strong clinical, counseling, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to explain technical concepts in a clear, patient-friendly manner
  • Comfort working in a retail healthcare setting
  • Commitment to ethical practice and patient-focused care
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development
