Job description

Greater Saskatoon Catholic Schools invites applications for permanent and temporary, full time and part-time Speech Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year.
Areas of responsibilities include: 

  • To assess students' speech, language and communication skills
  • To develop appropriate programs to assist students in acquiring communication skills
  • To provide support for classroom teachers, parents and educational assistants in program delivery
  • To provide limited direct service to individuals, small groups, or whole classrooms as deemed appropriate
  • To work with a team of Speech Language Pathologists in providing in-service opportunities and professional development for staff 

Successful candidates will: 

  • Possess a Master's degree in the area of responsibility
  • Eligible for licensing by the College of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists of Saskatchewan
  • Eligible for a Professional "B" Teacher's Certificate
  • Have a valid driver's license 

Preference will be given to candidates who: 

  • Are of the Catholic Faith
  • Have an understanding of First Nations and Mtis and Inuit World View
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Are well planned, organized and flexible
  • Have previous work experience as a member of an inter-disciplinary team
