Job description

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Audioโ€‘Visual Technician to support a longโ€‘term commercial AV integration workload throughout the state of Wisconsin. This is a permanent, fullโ€‘time position supporting work โ€” 85% or more โ€” performed within Wisconsin, providing consistent local project deployment and longโ€‘term stability. As part of our integration team, technicians will install and support AV systems primarily in the corporate environment. While this role is primarily in-state, technicians may periodically travel to other Midwest job sites as business needs require. This position is ideal for technicians seeking steady, careerโ€‘oriented employment, strong project visibility, and ongoing work without the demands of a fullโ€‘time national travel schedule. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with commercial AV integration and a strong understanding of system schematics and cabling.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Install AV systems including displays, projectors, audio systems, and control systems in commercial environments
  • Pull, terminate, and label network, audio, video, and control cables according to AV standards
  • Mount and secure AV hardware such as speakers, projectors, displays, and equipment racks
  • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other technicians to ensure timely and accurate installation
  • Interpret and follow AV system schematics, line drawings, and construction documents
  • Test and troubleshoot installed AV systems to ensure functionality and performance
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site and comply with all safety procedures
  • Provide on-site support and communication with clients when needed
  • Document installation progress and report to project stakeholders as required
  • Ensure all work is completed to industry and company quality standards
Job Requirements:
  • Valid driverโ€™s license and reliable transportation for commuting to job sites
  • Ability to lift, carry, bend, and work on ladders or lifts as needed
  • Minimum 1 year of commercial AV integration installation experience required
  • Experience working with manufacturers such as Crestron, Extron, Biamp, Qsys, Cisco, and Poly
  • Ability to interpret line drawings, schematics, and construction documents
  • Knowledge of common AV cable types and signal flow including Cat5e/6, RS232, HDMI, and XLR
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve in the field
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with a team
Job Compensation and Details:
  • Pay- $22-25/hr with potential bonus at year end
  • Shift Time and Days- Weekdays and day shift
  • When travelling- Home mostly every weekend and at least every other weekend on bigger jobs
  • Travel by plane, lodging, and per diem offered
