Teacher Infant/ Toddler
Location: Princeton, NJ
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

As a member of our teaching team, some of your responsibilities will include:
  • Formalize lesson plans on a weekly basis for the upcoming instructional period.
  • Relate instructional objectives to curriculum standards and demonstrate effective decision-making concerning instructional goals.
  • Determine students' performance using both informal and formal assessments and observations.
  • Plan and implement activities to meet the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social needs of the children in the program.
  • Use a variety of instructional materials, including contextual, supplemental, teacher-constructed, and teaching bulletin boards, as well as audio-visual aids, hands-on activities, discovery-based learning, and activity-based learning.
  • Maintains accurate and timely educational assessments and progress notes for all assigned students.
  • Train and supervise a teacher assistant within the classroom.
  • Meet with parents throughout the year to discuss the child's progress.
  • Attends Open House, Back to School Night, Teacher In-Service days, and all weekly staff meetings and weekly teacher curriculum meetings

Requirements
โ€ข Bachelor's Degree required (Elementary Education preferred)
โ€ข Montessori Experience (preferred)
โ€ข NAMC (Preferred or willing to obtain within first year of employment)

Final compensation is determined based on a combination of factors, including years of experience in a similar role, relevant certifications and/or credentials, and the size and/or geographic location of the school.
