Job description

We are hiring a Lead Technician in Kansas City, Missouri. Installation Technicians are responsible for installing AV systems and performing general labor as assigned at customer job locations. Local and regional travel will be required for this position. This is a Lead Technician role for someone with 6-8 years prior AV installation experience leading projects.

Job Type: Full-Time

Schedule: 8-hour shift

Work Location: In-person

Ideal Candidates:

Self-motivated with an attention to detail

Master-level troubleshooting skills

Can read engineering drawings/specification sheets

Can identify design errors and develop solutions

Have a valid driver/license and acceptable driving record

CTS certified, have familiarity with audio configuration, and/or have experience with control systems like Crestron or Extron

Selected candidates must be able to pass a background check (including pre-employment drug screening) and have a high school diploma or equivalent.

Fill out progress documentation in a timely fashion

Have the decision-making skills to lead large complex projects

Expert communication skills both internally with KCAV employees and externally with site contacts and contractors

Travel up to 50%
