Are you a hands-on troubleshooter who thrives in dynamic environments? Do you enjoy turning technical challenges into seamless experiences for clients? If so, we want you on our team as an Audio Visual (AV) Field Service Technician.
In this role, you'll play a vital part in supporting, maintaining, and optimizing AV systems for a diverse range of clients. You'll get to work with cutting-edge technology, collaborate with industry-leading manufacturers, and be the trusted expert customers rely on to keep their systems running flawlessly.
What You'll Do
Prepare & Execute Support Tickets
  • Gather and prepare all tools, programs, and documentation needed to diagnose entire AV systems.
  • Perform initial troubleshooting to identify root causes and assess potential related issues.
  • Work directly with manufacturers when necessary, including initiating and managing RMAs on-site.
  • Implement temporary on-site workarounds to keep clients operational while final fixes are in progress.
  • Document your work clearly and maintain communication through the full lifecycle of each ticket.
Preventative Maintenance & Reporting
  • Conduct regular maintenance: equipment cleaning, firmware updates, testing, and system validation.
  • Capture and report data related to system activity, lifecycle history, and recurring issues.
  • Contribute your knowledge by creating how-to guides, troubleshooting steps, and support documentation.
Service Desk Operations
  • Resolve customer issues remotely using tools such as ConnectWise, Bomgar, and other remote-access platforms.
  • Create, update, and manage service cases within the NetSuite case system-always with SLA compliance in mind.
  • Communicate proactively with customers via phone and email to ensure expectations are met and exceeded.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts when issues require escalation.
