Job Summary
The School of Visual and Performing Arts at Tulsa Community College is seeking qualified candidates for an Adjunct Audio Engineering Instructor to begin Spring 2025. Primary responsibilities will include teaching courses in the areas of Recording Techniques and Music Industry/Music Business, as well as other music courses included in the curriculum, such as Music Fundamentals, Aural Theory, and Music Appreciation. The successful candidate will collaborate with other faculty in the leadership of the Music Department and seek to provide a holistic and inclusive student experience.
Pay based on salary schedule.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in music, Audio Engineering, Music Production, or Music Business, though teaching and professional experience will be considered if the candidate meets the other qualifications listed in the job description.
Philosophy compatible with that of a comprehensive urban community college.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in music, Audio Engineering, Music Production, or Music Business.
Doctorate in Music Audio Engineering, Music Production, or Music Business.
