Job description

Position Summary:
The AV Distribution Engineer will be joining a highly successful and functional Audio Visual / Entertainment Team that supports the needs of Graton Resort & Casino. This position is responsible for the design andthe oversight of all Audio Visual (A/V) and Low Voltage equipment and systems installations with thepurpose of creating the best possible guest experience. This role will assist with the creation andimplementation of standard operating procedures, as well as the creation and documentation of preventivemaintenance procedures for installed Audio Visual and Low Voltage equipment.

Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and
promoting our values.
2. Use industry standards and best practices to help design and scope A/V and Low Voltage systems tomeet property and end user's needs. Assist with the oversight of installation and verification of A/V and Low Voltage equipment, video walls, signage displays, video distribution systems, low voltage cabling,and distributed antenna systems.
3. Assists with the creation and documentation of best practices and standard operating procedures forA/V and Low Voltage equipment operation and repairs.
4. Help identify and find solutions to potential problems pertaining to A/V system performance, supportand reliability.
5. Oversee the installation and repairs of low voltage cabling including fiber optic cabling, communicationscabling, twisted pair, and coaxial cabling.
6. Assist with the creation and oversight of preventive maintenance for A/V and Low Voltage systems andequipment. Manage maintenance logs to ensure that equipment has been serviced properly to ensurelong-term performance.
7. Monitor, operate and repair a variety of lighting dimming systems including Electronic Theater Controland Crestron Dimming.
8. Assist with low level programming support including A/V control systems, audio DSP controls, andlighting controls.
9. Receive and respond to incoming calls, and/or e-mails regarding A/V software/hardware problems.
10. Oversee A/V and Low Voltage equipment inventory. Document changes made to A/V and Low Voltagesystems. Update blueprints to include any changes or updates to these systems. Oversee A/V andLow Voltage equipment inventory. Ensure that commonly used items for repairs and
installation are in stock and available.
11. Be familiar with OSHA safety codes regarding Audio Visual and Low Voltage infrastructures.
12. Technical support: Oversee Crestron system operations and functionality. Answering A/V help deskcalls, troubleshooting issues, and providing technical advice
13. Require the availability for all shifts and hours to support casino business.
14. Other duties as assigned.
