Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating equipment logistics, performing system checks, troubleshooting technical issues, and supporting live events from pre-event testing through post-event breakdown. The role also includes collaborating with event planners, venue staff, and other technicians to meet client specifications, while providing clear communication and professional customer service. The team member is expected to maintain AV inventory, follow safety and quality standards, and stay current with AV technologies and best practices.

  • Ability to work on-site, including standing for extended periods, lifting and moving AV equipment, and working flexible hours, evenings, and weekends as needed.
  • Previous experience in event production, hospitality, or a related AV environment is beneficial; industry certifications (e.g., AVIXA/InfoComm) are a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or coursework in audio visual technology is preferred.
